Welcome. Information will be added to this site shortly.
In the meantime, please read my information on the League of Women Voters' web site.
NOTE: The two pro-maximum-development candidates, backed by large amounts of developer money, are flooding the community with lies (scare tactics). Virtually none of what they are saying is true. Because of the sleazy campaign tactics that they have been using, I have not had time to put all the information up on this site that I would have liked. As of November 3, I have added information to the smartvoter site.
If you have any concerns about what they have written, please do not hesitate to contact me, and I will answer any questions to your satisfaction. I prefer email (ldw@best.com), but can also be reached at 726-9647 if desired.
On November 6, please vote for the candidates who will truly protect the community and the environment, serving your interests, not just say so while they protect only the developer's special interest:
We are the true environmentalists. In this election, every candidate is claiming to be an environmentalist, but only the GSD candidates listed above can prove that they are.
All of the fabricated issues from the other two candidates were invented so that Plock would have some excuse for trying to scare you into voting for him. He is in fact running for only reason -- he is against our proposal to ask the voters to re-organize the Granada Sanitary District as a Parks and Rec Community Services District (CSD). Amazingly, he DOES NOT want any parks in El Granada. Elliot is running to represent the real estate and development interests.
This is expected be a low turnout election. This always hurts the environmentalists, so please be sure to vote for us, and call your friends and ask them to vote for us and to call their friends. If the opposition candidates are allowed to get elected, the damage they do will be irreversable.
